Summary

Evolution has rendered the Tresari unique within the galaxy: they are descendants of insectoid ancestors and have evolved from a hive mind into a community of dedicated individuals striving for ultimate unity and peaceful coexistence.

The Tresari nation is governed by a council of queens, each responsible for different societal domains. This council deliberates and decides on actions, with one or more queens being tasked with implementing specific duties, organized and executed through the so-called "Queen's Chambers."

Occasionally, Tresari are born with an excessive amount of hive DNA, causing them to seek connection with a non-existent hive. These Tresari experience profound psychological distress, which their kin ritually alleviate by consuming them—a practice performed with great respect and regarded as a benevolent act. However, this practice has led to significant misunderstandings with other species.

Current Situation

The Tresari are unparalleled in espionage and information gathering, often giving the impression of possessing telepathic abilities. Although the Tresari are not currently formal members of the DESC due to their unique cultural practices, they offer their peacekeeping and diplomatic services to all factions, striving to mediate and resolve conflicts before they escalate. Their independent efforts frequently lead to issues with the conflicting parties and the DESC.

Additionally, the Tresari are leaders in terraforming technology: rather than colonizing existing habitable planets, they transform barren worlds into livable environments, respecting and preserving natural ecosystems. These technological skills make them highly sought after by other factions.

Internal Affairs

Internally, the Tresari currently struggle to prevent the reactivation of their hive DNA at grand scale due to a disease of unknown origin, while maintaining their role as galactic peacekeepers.In some of their numerous, albeit unsuccessful, attempts to establish successful communications amidst an impending war in the Eastside, alleged pathogens from unknown sources have infected some Tresari. Infected individuals seem to temporarily revert to the hive-mind phase. The extent of these incidents is unknown, but the Queen's Chambers are deeply concerned and have recently sought external assistance from the Karana and other factions through the DESC.
