In the year 2473, a fleet of Terran ships embarked on a critical mission to the Proxima Centauri system, seeking vital raw materials to sustain humanity's resurgence from a dark age that had ended a century before.
When the hyperspace drives, salvaged from an alien spacecraft, roared to life, events cascaded at breakneck speed. Operation Phoenix was thrown off course from the very start.
Especially for Joe Henricks (player character)
As chaos erupted at the edge of the solar system, a wave front surged, engulfing the fleet in a space-time rift, vanishing from Henricks' sight.'
With a determined final thrust of his small spaceship, Henricks plunged into the closing rift, chasing after the vanished fleet...
