In the year 2473, a fleet of Terran ships set out to retrieve much-needed raw materials from the nearby Proxima Centauri system and bring them back so that humanity could continue to thrive after emerging from a dark age just over a century earlier.

When the hyperspace drives recovered from an alien spaceship kicked in, events came thick and fast. Operation Phoenix did not begin as planned.

Especially for Joe Henricks (player character).

As the chaos at the edge of the solar system spread out in the form of a wave front, the fleet disappeared before Henricks' eyes in a space-time rift.

With a final push of his small spaceship, he entered the closing rift to follow the fleet...
