Summary
Older research archives suggest that the N'Ty are either a race of sentient machines or a helper population of an as-yet-unknown extinct civilization left behind or forgotten.
The state of knowledge is not clear, and there are many contradictory findings. The species' name is derived from engravings on their metallic armor. The N'Ty appear almost exclusively on lava planets.
Communication attempts have always failed, partly because the N'Ty always exhibit aggressive behavior.
